Who Needs to Re-Register?
Re-registration is mandatory for all students enrolled in undergraduate (BA, B.Com, B.Sc, BCA), postgraduate (MA, M.Com, M.Sc, MCA), and semester-based programmes to progress to their next academic year or semester.
- Result Independent: You do not need to wait for your previous term-end exam results or assignment grades to re-register.
- Avoid 6-Month Gap: Failing to re-register before the final deadline causes a 6-month loss in academic timeline.

- Step 1: Visit https://onlinerr.ignou.ac.in/ and log in with your 9/10 digit Enrollment Number and Samarth portal password.
- Step 2: Navigate to the Course Registration section for the July 2026 cycle.
- Step 3: Carefully choose your core and elective course modules from the dropdown menu.
- Step 4: Select your study material preference (Opt for Digital Soft Copies for a 15% discount on program fees).
- Step 5: Pay program fees securely via UPI, NetBanking, Credit Card, or Debit Card.
- Step 6: Download and save the payment transaction receipt and course registration confirmation slip.
